Bait-and-switch Should be the name of The Regional Provo Zions bank location, I called the branch in advance to get a foreign exchange rate then drove 21 miles or 17 minutes later The customer service teller quote me a different rate 😭 What a scam ! Don’t trust what Zions bank customer service over the phone ever again I suggest you record the call, get the name of the customer service agent, make notes, document the scam and make a complaint to the B.B. How hard is just to set up a system to help ziosn bank customers with foreign exchange ? Just do a code for a limited time or something !

I used Zions to get foreign currency, even though I don't bank with them. There was a $10 fee but they were really easy to work with.

Do not get an auto loan for your vehicle here!If you ever want to sell the vehicle and pay off the loan, they make the process incredibly difficult and impossible to do in a timely manner. I was moving out of the country and had a buyer for my vehicle, paying off the loan. Simply changing the ownership of the title or sending the title to the new owner was too much for Zions to handle and they are still unable to make this right, despite the loan being all payed off. Basically, do not take a loan out with Zions in general, but this branch in particular was the one I dealt with. They were and continue to be incredibly hard to work with and incompetent to their own company policies. The manager gave us (Myself and the person who is buying my vehicle) a solution, of which we followed his directions to the letter. But the new owner still can't get Zions to release the title to her, even with all the documentation that the manager told us to have. It's a mess.

I used Zions when I was in high school and college. Shortly after I got married I tried closing my account with them. More than 2 years ago I zeroed out everything. They told me it would close automatically after a certain amount of months. Just this morning I received an email from them saying I had a statement. The customer service said it should have been closed but I would need to come in because it didn't do it automatically. I have things to do, bringing in 2 small kids into a bank I don't even like is the last thing I want to do.

So disappointed in the service at this branch. I called and called their direct number to reserve and/ or pay for foreign currency. Kept being re-directed to a customer service department in southern Utah! Was told I could not pay for currency in advance, but they had plenty on hand. Drove to Provo to buy Euros, and guess what? They were out of Euros! They definitely need to work out the flaws in their system and train employees in better customer service.

I will never bank with Zions again. Tons of hidden fees they don't tell you about. I had to go to this branch 3 times to resolve one issue about a fee I was never told about. I ended up cancelling here and going to CHASE.

After 10 minutes on hold, this location picks up the phone and disconnects the call. Three times in two days.
