I was never a credit union member until banking institutions started raising their rates to continue making money. That started my credit union search...and how I found YCFCU in Sanford. They have two convenient branches in-town Sanford and South Sanford, as well as York and Biddeford. All are new construction within the last few years. The staff is BEYOND friendly, knowledgeable and consistently available. I will NEVER go back to a bank and will always recommend YCFCU. The only downfall I have is their minimal online banking site. The details aren't too great and there's no way to make online deposits (as of June 2012!!).Edit: online banking has been available for a while now. Best CU in the area!
