Best Sausage Around!!! I have eaten sausage all over Texas and nothing compares to Windthorst!

This used to be a good processor, but not anymore. $125 minimum fee, so they are forcing you to buy sausage, or at least pay for it. I didn’t get nearly all my deer back with only 30 pounds of meat from a 120 pound deer. It also took 7 weeks to process, and all the money had to be paid upfront. I can’t imagine they will continue to get hunters to use them under these conditions. Beware, no standard deer processing.

Hunters Beware! Took a 100 lb doe in for processing and got about 23 lbs meat back. Some of it deer sausage. All the meat tasted terrible. We had to throw it all waway. Cost was outrageous. $194. We called them about the terrible taste and they just acted like "so-what".

Came in very welcoming I met with Chris had some really good food in sit down have a bite I'll get it to go whatever you do you have to stop here grab your meat. They have all types of meat even deer meat.

A friend of mine brings his steers in here to be aged and processed. I purchased a side of beef from him and it was great. I've also purchased steak and sausage from them and they were quality eating.
