was told notary public was for customers of the bank only. heads up to the bank. IT IS A PUBIC SERVANT POSITION. Oh and here is the GUIDING PRINCIPlE 1 of the rule book. "I-A-4: Improper Refusal Due to Nonclient StatusThe Notary shall not refuse to perform a lawful and proper notarial act solely because the signer is not a client or customer of the Notary or the Notary’s employer."
