I've been pleased with UCCU for years now and this has been my home bank location. They are the ideal for both local and 'mom and pops' support. Previously I was with a large national bank which caused me hundreds extra in fees just to use over the years. Originally went to UCCU's competitor down the road in Hyvee and was turned off by the rudeness of the girl I was inquiring with to start an account. Didn't have proper documentation on me and she treated my like a vagrant. I did look rough indeed but you should never dismiss a potential customer. Anyways I was determined to switch to a non-profit and after retrieving my documentation I noticed this branch on the way back. After my experience with the 'other' credit union it made perfect sense to enquire with them. That was 5 years ago and I'll never look back. Staff has always been nice to me, and I've banked through the credit union network all the way down to Fort Lauderdale, essentially having national access to my account. Very pleased and highly recommended.
