7/31 UPDATEIt has been 12 days since this office said they were returning my $5000. They have responded to none of emails or phone calls since 7/19. (please see attachment) I finally received a reply TODAY stating that my FIVE thousand dollars was mailed to Avner Walton. (see attachment)My name is Kevin Orive but prefer anonymity on the web. So the reply by Dan Hackman, Chief Financial officer that my refund was mailed to Avner Walton (my alias).They now are playing games and laughing at my "expense" knowing that I cannot afford to hire another attorney (see attachment). I hope this does not happen to anyone else and what is currently happening to me helps someone make an informed decision on whether to hire this law firm. (see attachment)7/29 updateYay! Received an email last week (7/19, 10 days ago, stating they were going to send my request to their comptroller to return my payment of $5000 dollars they cashed on or before 7/18 as FIVE THOUSAND dollars was debited from my bank on 7/18 from Mr Paul Krakser's office.I still have NOT received my money back. I need a lawyer. I cannot afford to hire another lawyer to defend my rights because they still HAVE NOT returned my retainer.......... I never signed a retainer bI believed in Mr Krasker and I thought i could trust him. I want to SCREAM. Spend the better part of the day looking for a new laWYER. A new lawyer BECAUSE I may have to hire a lawyer to get my money back. I learned this is a civil matter and could take up to one year, and addition lawyer fees, the have my money back.Separately I was told, verbally, that maybe if I removed my negative review then then they might consider a prompt return. And that if I removed my review then they might even wire the funds so could hire a lawyer that I needed 2 weeks ago. I was told that they would most likely be happy to help and they wish me the best.7/18/2019Was referred to Paul Kresker by an associate. Called Kresker's office on Monday 7/15/19. Spoke with assistant Jennifer and forwarded Jennifer requested DOCS. She advised Kresker would call me that afternoon. Mr Kresker did not. He did call Tues morning. I liked him. At his request, I sent 5000 to retain his services. Wed (7/17) I received an email from Jennifer as follows."...Attorney James Werter will be handling your file, so I will forward him these emails" I replied I hired Paul, not James. Same day was told Mr Werter (googled him and found nowhere that he practices Real Estate law and specialize in Family Law) would contact me via phone Thur (7/18). On Thur, rec'd email from Mr Werter that he would call same day. HE DID NOT! Talk about bait and switch. Sold by Paul. Handed off to James. Today I sent Mr Werter and Jennifer an email stating their services were no longer required. As of yet, they have not returned by 5K. Wasted Mon thru Thur on this law firm. Can't help but think, if this is the way they treat would be clients to get the $$, what service do they provide that a neighbor could not. Reliability ZERO. Accountability ZERO. Paul's selling skills top notch. Integrity for the bait and switch and us thinking they were reliable when the were not - perfect 10. Need a lawyer, hire a lawyer. Need A SALESMAN, CALL PAUL KRESKER. He'll accept your hard earned cash and then pawn you off as if you have no choice. Will I get my 5K back? Hope so. Hopefully will not have not have to hire an ATTORNEY to sue PAUL KRESKER the SALESMAN. Buyer beware7/19/2019 **UpdateJust read reply from Mr Kresker's office. He states this morning (7/19) that he has NOT even rec'd check. Fishy. **SEE ATTACHMENT. Shows $5000 debited from my account on 7/18. Meant he was wrong or LIED about not receiving check. Petty. I feel I am being petty by writing this TRUTH for people who are considering hiring this office.I still do NOT have my 5K back and they continue to prove that I was naive, ignorant and and maybe plain stupid to trust this law firm. Hope the time I have spent outlying the FACTS has helped at least one person. Best of luck.
