I don't normally write negative reviews, but hopefully this one can save a business owner some time, money, and frustration. After hiring the Buffaloe Group to help us clean up our books and get our accounting on the right track, we soon realized that they were not helping us in the way that we needed after multiple conversations trying to explain the situation and getting assurances that they understood what we were needing to do. In the meantime, they filed personal tax returns and seem to have completely forgotten obvious deductions like charitable contributions.Also, we were seeking advice on how to properly and cost-effectively incorporate our company. After several consultations, we were advised that an S-Corp would be the most beneficial way to go. After making the transition to an S-Corp and hiring another accountant to help us correct our books, we are now learning that the S-Corp was not a good business decision, and it is costing us thousands of dollars in personal income taxes.The only reason I gave more than one star is because they are friendly and easy to work with. Hopefully they know how to handle simple personal tax returns, but I would not recommend them for business advice or any type of complicated accounting.
