Horrible manager. I drove 45 minutes to rent a concrete mixer after calling, they didn’t bother to tell me on the phone that renting before 3:00 on Saturday requires a 2 day rate, and that I’d have to wait until 3:00 to get the 1 day rate. Even after explaining to the manager I had just drove 45 minutes and perhaps he’d work with me a bit and that as a contractor I’d done thousands of dollars worth of business with another branch, his only response was “we’re independently owned and policy is policy”. Go elsewhere!

I have used Taylor Rental in Dover for all my party and event needs which is usually at least twice a year. I always have a great experience. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. The very friendly yellow Lab Cooper is always a great door greater too!

Poor customer service. We asked to rent a hedgetrimmer via their online portal, but when we called to confirm one of the owners disputed the online price and claimed it was a mistake. She would not honor the advertised price ($26 online vs. $38 by her lights). When my wife decided to rent it anyway the owner claimed they sharpen their tools before every rental. This one was dull and took about 5 hours to do a 2-3 hour job. The on/off switch didn't work (a safety issue) and the throttle lock was inoperable. When she returned it and explained these problems, the owner told her that they don't have time to sharpen between every customer. Someone's not shooting straight.I'll never rent from these people again. Too bad. It's so easy to make things better if you just pay a little attention to your customers and treat them fairly.

I rented a tent, tables, chairs and linens from them a week ago. Could not be happier. The tent was very nice and easy to setup. The staff was friendly and helpful and the dog in the showroom was awesome. I will absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again.

Love the staff in Rolinsford and the prices are great. This was the closest place to Portsmouth that I could rent a metal detector to find a precious ring my wife lost in the woods near our house. I found it! And the rental price was more than reasonable at $25 a day--that ring is priceless to my wife.Highly recommend this rental center to anyone.
