I am writting on behalf of my father. He takes care of my mom who has alzheimers, is bedfast, and who is in need of constant care. He never leaves my mom except for doctor appointments and to go to the store, in which case he uses the services of Synergy. There are two or three wonderful caregivers he request for regularly. But understandably, they are not alway alvailable and other caregivers are sent. Often these caregivers are inexperienced, untrained and my mom is not given the professional, compassionate care that he is expecting. For example, there have been occasions when caregivers have arrived late, making him late and even needing to reschedule appointments. More recently, not only did a caregiver arrive late, but when he came back from his appointment, he found my mom alone with no caregiver. My dad was 2 minutes late getting back but was given no notice that the caregiver was leaving, she just left. His advice for those considering the services from Synergy is to demand and accept only trained and qualified caregivers.

I've known Michelle for over six years. She is a very a knowledgeable, accomplished, and effective leader. Her business has blossomed over the years and it is because of her dedication to her clients AND her employees. If you have a loved one who needs home care in the area, I highly suggest giving Synergy Mid Penn a call.

My Mom was in failing health and chose to spend her last days at home where she lived independently. She was going to need 24X7 home care to help with food preparation, shopping, housekeeping, mobility assistance, and companionship. I had no previous experience with an in-home care service, so was apprehensive about having people unknown to me in the house when I couldn’t be there. Michelle, the owner, met with us in the home to describe what services were available (non-medical) and always accompanied a new staff person to her first shift in order to provide continuity. All of the homecare professionals I met in the home were exactly what I had hoped for in a caretaker. Some had decades of experience providing physical care and others were pursuing careers in nursing. My Mom eventually required hospice care, and Synergy HomeCare worked smoothly alongside the hospice care provider. I could not be more pleased with the care my Mom received from Synergy HomeCare.
