Client Review on Stocker Subaru
Feedback:
I recently went to Stocker’s to look at two vehicles I was extrememly interested in; Chevy Trax and Subaru Crosstrek. I was hesitant revisiting Stocker due to a horrible experience I had there six years ago. I was hopeful the experience would be different. Unfortunately, my experience was more disheartening. I found the sales representative very unprofessional, dismissive and uneducated about the vehicles. I communicated my lease with Toyota was ending in a month and wanted to consider another options such as another lease and a purchase. Stocker did not provide any relevant information during the test drives to help me understand differences in models of each vehicle to make a decsion. The salesman spent the whole time on his cell phone. I had to ask questions such as miles per gallon, safety features, 4 wheel drive options, etc. (At this point, I could be tested on the Toyota Rav, Mazda Cx3 and Hyndai Kona. I would pass because the salesmen in the other dealerships provided an abundance of information. They were also very inquisitive as to what I was looking for. They asked me several questions to help me find a vehicle that would fit my needs. Stocker did none of this). When we went to test drive the Subaru, I needed to ask him twice if we needed a liscence plate before I drove it. He had forgotten it and proceeded to have me drive to Stocker Chevy to get one. After the test drives, I asked for the vehicle catalogs. He did not provide them rather INSISTED I choose one vehicle. He wanted me to make a decsion and literally stated he did not want to run the numbers on both vehicles as it was a WASTE OF HIS TIME. When I asked again for both, he very abruptly and angrily walked away. He came back 15 minutes later with numbers, spent seconds going over them. I thanked him for the numbers, stated I was not prepared to make a decision at that point. He stated, “I figured” and said nothing more. I expressed other dealerships offered to pay my last lease payment and disposition fee to end my lease with another dealership. He stated, “Yeah, you will pay for that.” When I left he did not offer his hand to shake or any positive remark.
