I can’t believe the negative comments and low rating for SCSL!! As a matter of fact, just today I spoke with an SCSL representative (Tom) and I told him that they are my favorite student loan company to work with because they are the easiest. Over the years I have had to request a few forbearance periods due to struggling to make student loan payments. SCSL has always listened to what I’ve had to say and never ever had made me feel bad for struggling and never had made me jump through hoops to get there. They are super personable and easy to reach. For all of those negative nancies with their panties in a twist, I suggest working with huge companies such as Wells Fargo student loans or AES, Chase, you name it. Those companies belittle you and your situation and have no heart at all. And, on top of that it takes forever to just get through to a representative. SCSL- you have my deepest thanks for making it easier to pay back student loans. Because let’s face it, paying back student loans is no cup of tea! But certainly, SCSL, you make it beyond bearable!!!
