Solution Loans were making collection calls while I was at work. After not answering my phone, they called my work, which I requested not to be called, since it is my workplace policy that no personal calls be made or received. I told this to her and said I would talk with her after work and hung up. She repeatedly called my place of work 4 times after I hung on her. My boss finally took the call for me and told her that no personal calls are allowed. Right after that the employee immediately started calling my phone 3 more times one after another, until I finally answered and I then told her I cannot take personal calls while I'm working. The only reason I didn't get any more calls was because I turned off my phone. Later when I called her, I informed her that everything the just did went against the FDCPA regulations, to which she stated she wasn't making a "collection call" and therefore she was exempt from this law. I will add, this is completely false, if a company contacts you in reference to anything regarding a debt, scheduling a payment, a reminder to pay if you are late, or inquire why you are late, it all falls under FDCPA regulations. If you signed a letter that gives permission to call your place of work, that is immediately voided once your employer states they cannot call there anymore. That piece of paper you signed cannot override that companies federal rights. I would not recommend anyone borrowing money from this company.
