I purchased a car today from a gentleman who is a member of Seven Seventeen Credit Union. Gave him a cashiers check from Huntington Bank and was told by Huntington that the money will be in his account overnight. Seven Seventeen claims it takes eleven days to verify the check and will not release my money to him dragging out the sale of a car to just short of two weeks. When they DO release my money after holding it for ten days it will be released in two separate increments on separate days. How can a banking system be so far behind the times? I'm not making this up. Their slogan is "See the Difference".Eleven days to transfer money. That's the "difference" folks. I wouldn't believe it if wasn't happening to me
