1/20/18- Went in to the Rio Rancho center to open an account and the greeter was so rude she arguing with a customer in front of me, once it was my turn told her I'd like to open a checking account. Before signing me in or setting me up with anyone, she asked for 2 forms of ID and proof of residency (she said my car registration and insurance would work) so I had that and a copy of my mortgage loan papers since I just closed on my first house. She would not accept any of it after seeing my ID address was different (address was the same on all documents except id), then accused me of having refinanced my home ?? and said my loan paper work wasn't the correct paper work and would not allow me to speak with anyone else or open an account all while in front of other people in line, super unprofessional. So I left super frustrated went straight to Nusenda and they greeted me set me up in an office with someone and took my ID and got basic info. and opened me an account right away no hassel since my ID was proof enough of residence even though I had proof of residency. So glad I did not open an account at Sandia Area Federal Credit Union . I see why they have low ratings. Horrible customer service. Horrible first impression. This places doesn't deserve 1 star.
