I would highly advise against borrowing from this company. The account managers use poor customer service skills, have a lack of knowledge of policies and procedures, and have negative attitudes. There are only four of these women and much about this place indicates small and unorganized. Two years ago I was granted a loan for the summer portion summer of a one summer+ one academic year program. I had prepared for years for this program and the life change. When fall came I unfortunately had to deal with RSLFC again. After several communications with RSLFC and much waiting finances became desperate my student financial aid office contacted them. They were told that I was never approved for the loan as I didn't qualify as my program was non-degree granting. I remember talking to two of less than five women while processing these accounts in my name that would affect my life for years to come and my finances and those of my mother. Not once in dozens of phone calls and e-mail exchanges from May-October did anyone mention nor was it in a place of reference that I was never qualified for any loan with them due to the fact that my program was non-degree granting. Due to this very serious oversight my life was flipped upside down and due to finances I had to drop out of the program. Two years later I am still picking up the pieces of the destruction due to utter and complete complacency. The best part of it all is that not one of these women or their boss would acknowledge any shortcoming on their end or even so much as apologize for any of this. Instead of using basic customer service skills they continuously placed blame on me and treated me even worse than before.As you can imagine the failure of RSLFC to operate appropriately existed in many other ways as well such as paperwork, order, and general communications. I still have a hard time dealing with them for any reason as they continue with their non-client centered, negative attitudes.The website, etc is outdated and hard to use as well.
