We were going to use this bank for a mortgage loan based on a great experience with the Roswell Branch. Long story short, from the beginning of the process, it was a very different experience with Rita at the Ruidoso Branch. She didn't return initial phone calls. I had to chase her down. Once the process was started I got back a surprisingly high interest rate for my credit score and when I mentioned it she didn't make a move to say she could do anything about it. 3 wks later after not hearing back from me, she called and acted shocked that I had gone with another lender that beat that rate and the closing costs too. She got upset, retorted that she could have beat the rate, was unprofessional, and hung up on me!! I was nothing but polite the entire conversation. I still can't believe her level of unprofessionalism and the way that I was treated. It's really a shame because Pioneer Bank as a whole has been a great experience for us.
