Complete Nightmare! waisted thousands of dollars and thousands of hours. Can't even begin to express the "first time home buying" experience with these people. Took close to 70 days tons of paperwork extremely slow underwriting process. They don't return phone calls, don't keep you up to date, Lie about whats going on and don't tell the truth until its to late!lots and lots of time and money later! completely devastatingly unnecessarily in compassionate.

Very, very disappointed with my experience with Pinnacle Bank. I took an SBA loan from Pinnacle acouple years ago. Ive never missed a payment or been late and my business is making money. Ive even been able to pay down the debt over 30% above and over what was required in my loan agreement. The problem is that the folks that do their underwriting, closings and account servicing are excruciatingly slow, unresponsive, mistake prone, and deny even reasonable requests. For example, closing the loan took 45 days longer than I was originally told by them....45 days!! They blamed understaffing in underwriting for this one. Then the Loan Closer made over $1700 in mistakes and in one case charged me twice for the same fee. When I brought this to their attention, the Closer denied the Bank made any mistakes and only after a few weeks of me persisting and providing documentation did she finally begrugingly admit her mistake and apply the credit to the loan balance. However she refused to pay back the interest that i had paid on this double charge which amounted to well over $100. The latest problem Im experiencing is with their portfolio management team. The portfolio manager requested a meeting with me at my business location and then showed up 40 minutes late and didnt even offer an apology. Ive also in the midst of selling a property that was used as additional collateral against the bank loan. Ive made several reasonable requests for some of the proceeds to be applied towards property taxes and business improvements and my balance sheet. It took well over a week for them to respond and of course they are denying these reasonable requests. I now have a LTV ratio of about 45% of appraised value less than 2 years into a 30 year loan. Again I have never been late making payments and my business has been making money. By all accounts I should be treated as an ideal customer. However, I cant even get them to respond to me in a timely manner, they are disrespectful of my time, and they certainly arent reasonable in dealing with requests. Strongly recommend against applying to Pinnacle Bank for an SBA loan. My personal experience with Pinnacle has been nothing short of a nightmare.
