I have opened my payatrader account via Huddle Buy, years ago, 2012/2013. I have started with an online terminal, so I can take a payment over the phone only, then later purchased the pay link for a self-service link on my website. I find Payatrader as a great tool to have. They have made switching from a sole trader to a limited company account fairly smooth, and changing addresses & bank accounts before was also easy to manage.

I've been using the services for about a year. The customer service is poor. Faulty terminals can take more than week to be replaced (which costs loads of sales), the fees are very high and company ignores request to negotiate better rates. Customer service takes long time to reply. Payments show on customers bank statements as another business, and the company does not want to rectify this. I am in the process of switching and do not recommend services to anyone who cares for their business.

It's an OK service, I am sure there are better out there but I only use them as Izettle don't let you take payments over the phone but if they ever do then I won't use Payatrader any more. Main reason is that they are slow to pay you. Izettle pay me daily and these people don't. I also had a charge back which was the customers error and they took money out of my account straight away and I had to wait for the customer to sign a form before they would give it back. One huge downside and the reason for the charge back is because the payments all go through as Pay A Trader and not the individuals business name.

Great service, any review suggesting this company is fraudulent is ridiculous. Gave us the ability to take card payments from our customers, greatly improving our sales and reputation. They even have card machines available.

My small business lacked the ability to take card payments and all of the options I had investigated were expensive and tied you into contracts.I found Payatrader and applied for an account, it was opened very quickly and I can now process card payments quickly and professionally.A fantastic service for small businesses.

I've been a customer for over 3 years, and can say that their customer service is outstanding. As a small business, they provide me with an excellent value for money means of taking card payments from my customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a low-cost card payments service. Looking at some of the other reviews, it seems some people are confusing Payatrader with the services provided by their customers, Eg the nuisance call blockers etc. Similarly the fact they don't just accept any 'dodgy' companies without vetting them, makes them even better in my view.

BEWARE VERY BAD SERVICE they manipulate you that your application has gone well, then request 3 proof's of identity. When you supply photo ID and home address ID, they DECLINE you without giving a reason and claim it's their policy. No credit check is done because your not applying for credit. They just want your documents because they may have fraudsters working in there call centre's and selling your information. FRAUDSTERS randomly selecting identities. This is in no way SLANDER it's 100% FACT and I advise people not to consider using them.

Very poor company! They have kept money my customers paid me and not refunded them or paid me the remaining lots. Not a professional service and I would steer clear as I don't think they are genuine and probably committing fraud. STAY CLEAR
