UPDATE Jan 23, 2019. Ownership has changed hands and I have not been in to check it out. I think Virginia, the reason why I used PD, is now at Money Mizer on 23rd St. Its, a good shop, too. OLD ADVICE I am prone to being detailed and long winded. With that in mind, I suggest scanning the first and last paragraphs. If still interested, read the post.Excellent customer service was provided by friendly and competent staff. They were extremely helpful and polite, providing a very relaxed atmosphere and experience (they did NOT "pressure" me in any way).Several months ago, Kevin Wright supported my on-line purchase of a new firearm. I bought it from an FFL (dealer) in Utah. Because I am not a Utah resident Federal Law required the firearm's transfer/delivery to an FFL (dealer of my choice) in Florida. This dealer would fill-out the mandated paperwork, taking custody of the firearm, then notify me. Then, for me to take ownership of my gun, the dealer must fill-out more paperwork. Each "step" in this process is critical and must be fully documented/managed. Firearm custody and associated paperwork required close attention to detail by Pawn Depot. A lapse in dealer performance, depending on severity, could result in stern warnings/admonition, intense BATFE oversight, award of major fines, loss of FFL, and/or federal felony conviction(s) that result in probation/jail.With these "hoops" Pawn Depot jumped through, the price for FFL services was amazingly reasonable. Their net revenue had to be minimal. Regardless, Kevin and the staff treated me like a "high roller"! Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that, should the opportunity presents itself, you give Pawn Depot serious consideration. It is at the TOP of my list!
