Edit 3/30/19: After agreeing to pay the extortionate fees in the hopes of removing a bad mark from my credit report, Parkside continues to report the account derogatory on my credit report, despite their assurances that it would no longer be reported as such. Very disappointing that they would be so petty.Do not open a checking account with Parkside. Over a year ago my wife and I decided to leave Parkside due to poor customer service and ridiculous fees. Parkside continued to charge fees even when we were no longer using their checking service, and is now trying to collect on fees that were never authorized!?
