Overall Feedback:
I have had an account with this bank for over a year. I switched my account from another bank to them, because I am in a wheelchair, and the bank is right across the driveway from me. Thought it would be safer than trying to cross East Allen street to get to TD Bank. I recently had to report my debit card as lost/stolen. I went to get a new card, and they want $20 + to replace it! Very expensive bank to use. I can understand charging for a new card if someone was a frequent flyer at losing their card, but if it has been lost or stolen, you already feel awful, and having to spend that kind of money for a new one, is ridiculous. I have been with several banks over the past 45 years, and have never had to pay for a replacement debit card. What makes it even more inconvenient, is as it nears the end of the month, there is limited money in my account, so I now need to wait until the 3rd of a month to order the new card, which then takes minimum of 10 days to get to me (The bank is right across the driveway from me).So, a month without a debit card, I now have to go in and change all my payments for rent etc. to my checking account. Once I get the card, I then have to go back and change all my payments to be used by the debit card. This bank advertises itself as a "for the people" kind of bank. "shaking my head", I say NOT! Needless to say, this is not a convenient bank, nor do I consider it to be a "for the people" kind of bank. Very disappointed and disenchanted with this bank.
