While reading last year's audit, the Commissioners of a small governmental entity in South Texas discovered that our staff had not been remitting payroll taxes to the IRS. We were in big trouble, and our attorney was unable to help us. Omni Financial called and offered their assistance. We voted to hire them, and it was the best decision we could have made. Quickly and aggressively, an Omni Enrolled Agent went to work. He and his team were able to determine exactly what was owed to our Trust Account. We paid that, and our Omni guru did the rest. Promising only that he would do his best, he and his team made such a compelling case for us that the IRS abated all penalties and interest. How can you do better that that? Our entire Board of Commissioners are grateful that we did not have to spend taxpayer money for penalties and interest. Lastly, Omni showed us the way to assure we never get into such a situation again.
