I've banked with OCU since 2010. They are easy to work with. There is no call center like with other banks and credit unions. Usually the person that answers is someone I have seen before. They usually recognize me and that feels great. Most recently I got two car loans from them. When my wife's credit union said they would charge 2% more because her vehicle had over 100K miles I told her we should check out my credit union. By the way her car had 110K miles. Also when my wife talked to one loan person at her credit union she was then shuffled off to another person to do the processing. This person asked all the same questions that my wife just answered to the first person. She was told that all her info had been passed on. I believe she felt discounted and frustrated that she had to explain everything again. She was also told one thing by one person at her credit union and then another by the other person. At OCU, I dealt with the same member services person and she was very easy to deal with. OCU has a great rate and it's not limited by how many miles the car has. They were able to process my loan in a matter of minutes, really! The other credit union seemed like it would be more of an inconvenience to buy from a private party. My credit union (OCU), made it easy and they were happy to help. I highly recommend OCU to anyone who is tired of being another "next".
