Communication with Nations Lending stopped as soon as the appraisal was done. I haven't even been able to get a readable copy of the appraisal that we personally paid $500 for. You might need to look somewhere else if customer service is of interest to you.

This was the worst refinancing experience EVER! I own several homes and refinanced properties multiple times, and I have never had such a harrowing and frustrating time. My file was passed around multiple times, one person left the company in the middle of my loan process, underwriting couldn't figure out what exactly they needed, and despite my setting up a shared Google folder into which I placed ALL requested information within 24 hours of request, they still managed to lose my documents and files. I was promised 3 different closing dates, and finally closed at 9:00 PM last night after a 12 hours work day just to get the cash needed for my business. Their loan servicing practices are terrible. It is impossible to get someone on the phone in a timely manner. I don't know if they are understaffed, or have too many complaints coming in to field them all, but they are NOT the best company to work with for your mortgaging needs. As soon as I build my equity back up, I will be refinancing with another lender!

Cecilia is the most professional person I have dealt with in obtaining a loan . I was referred to her by another company because of a technicality in obtaining a VA loan we spoke briefly about the situation and she said we can get it done. And she did in less than 30 days. The initial house I was going to purchase wasn't my first choice so when Cecilia notified me I was preapproved I asked her about a house that I was interested in that had a right of redemption attached. She said not a problem if that's what you want we can do that. I'm relocating from South Florida so I didn't know much about right of redemption. My realtor was making it seem like it wasn't a good idea and it would be hard to get a loan well I'm happy to say thanks to Cecilia I will be closing on my home and she made it all possible she wasn't pushy or aggressive she simply said when you get a contract we will be ready to go and that she was.
