Worst check cashing place and worst customer service! I went in to cash a momey order I used to as a holding fee for an apt. When I got another apartment the place gave me the momey order back so i went to cash it here. The Mexican lady at the counter said she couldn't cash it because it was "stale dated".. the money order was issued end of october 2017. Its barely the beginning of january 2018. Less than 3 months! I told her to please verify the funds so she could see the money order was good. She said she would, had me cross out everything on the front of the money order, rewrite my name over everything and write on the back as well. She verefies funds, has me wait 30 minutes on the final step, approval in her system, then tells me they couldn't cash it and hands me back the scribbled all over money order. I ask "who is going to cash that now ?" and she says, "Well you can try to get a refund from western union (which takes 30-60 days) but nobody else was going to cash this anyways". And i said "What are you talking about this is the first place i went to?" She then says "oh", and with this dumb-founded look on her face, then tries to say "well the funds are there so im sure another place will cash it..." and i said "Like this? With the all the name crossed out? Who would cash that?!" She gets this look on her face like she knew she screwed up, but still tried to tell me somewhere will cash it. So finally i walk out, but not before explaining in layman's terms "well if somewhere would cash it, why wouldn't u?! You even verefied the funds!!" Never did i get an apology for her basically throwing 100 bucks down the drain by having me ruin the money order. I could have taken it back to the apartment complex but now they wont accept it because it's been written all over. This place is a joke, they don't care about people, they have no regard for how their actions affect people. I hope to God she has to deal with someone just like how she treated me. Do yourselves a favor.. Take your business elsewhere before they rob you too!!
