Client Review on Money 4 You
Feedback:
I unfortunately had a really horrific experience at this place. I brought in all of the paperwork I was told to bring in on the phone by Joselyn and Amanda before coming in. I was assured with the long lines at my bank that they would be open until 6pm. I hurried in shortly after 5pm, handed my check stubs to Amanda & my 3 months of bank statements. She said she couldn't get ahold of my employer on the phone to verify my employment. With it being past 5pm they weren't open anymore. I wasn't previously informed on the phone that this would be needed. I was told to bring in my drivers licence, paper checks from my bank, and 3 months of bank statements. I said how I had shared on the phone that I have online banking and was assured before coming in that I could use that as well to verify what was needed. Amanda told me that I needed to take a screen shot of my direct deposits on my online banking. I tried to but due to security reasons it wouldn't let me and I showed Amanda this. She said that they had to have this. So I asked her if she could see what I could be approved for without this & calling my employer since they were already closed. She said she could approve me for 50 dollars. I figured I was already there & it was better than nothing, so I tried to make the best of the cards presented so to speak. So I filled out the paperwork she gave me and signed everything and turned it back in. By this time it was 5:50pm. She then looked over it and said that I wasn't allowed to have any out of state references. With my family being from out of state I had put them down along with a friend from Utah in the rush of things. So she whited everything out including accidentally whiting out my friend from Utah too. I shared that I did have a reference from Utah written on the form but it was whited out along with everything else. She said I would have to start over. So I hurried and filled out everything as best as I could only using references from utah. I was almost done and she said it was 6pm and I needed to leave and come back tomorrow. I shared how I was almost done and would have been done if things hadn't been whited out. She then started talking more loudly and forcibly with me saying that I was being combative and needed to leave. I shared calmly that I was talking in a soft but firm voice simply sharing a valid concern and that I was almost done. Then this other lady who worked there who had no idea what had been specifically communicated between Amanda & I the past 45 minutes stepped in and very loudly said "We told you what you needed to bring over the phone before you came in here. You need to leave." I then held up my paperwork to her and shared that I brought in everything I was specifically told on the phone to bring in and that the current situation being discussed was a different concern but she wasn't listening & was just talking loudly & stood next to Amanda along with another girl. If anything, they were the ones being combative with me. I was at the door and it was locked. I kept trying to unlock it and shared that it was locked and I was trying to leave but couldn't get it unlocked. That's when one of the girls shared in a sarcastic tone that it was because they were closed. No one came up to help me. I finally got it unlocked and hurried out of there. I was completely shocked how awful they treated me and even bullied me at the end. I have never been treated that way by any business in my entire life. I really didn't need this right now. It was my Dad's birthday and he recently died and I was doing everything I could to just hang in there today. When I got in my car my hands were shaking and didn't stop for several minutes. I made it home and cried in my car. It was a traumatic experience. The worst experience I've ever experienced with a business. And any friends or family who know me have always said that I have a very soothing physical voice. I was not raising my voice or being combative. On their end they definitely were at 6pm when their business closed. It was a really awful experience.
