If it was possible to give a negative star review Momentum would most definitely receive it. They will create fees and charges and increase rates without notifying the customer. They filed an tax report with incorrect info that resulted in a huge paperwork snafu that cost me thousands of dollars and they took absolutely no interest even figuring out the problem. I put in 5 requests for paperwork over a 3 week period and received either nothing or a completely unrelated document each time. I was told by 4 different customer service reps that it was impossible for them to do anything other than fax a request to corporate an then wait for 24 to 48 hrs for corporate to fax me the docs. Finally on the 5th time I told them that was not an option and I would remain on the line till I had the docs and suddenly it was possible to have them immediately. This company is a Bait and Switch, dishonest, ethically challenged institution whos business model is to bleed the customer for all they will tolerate then charge exorbant termination fees. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH MOMENTUM PAYMENT SYSTEMS AND IF YOU ARE TERMINATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM. I switched CC companies and saved nearly $1800 in tne first 6 months.

This place fired over 45 people in a week. Scam artist! They are in a class action lawsuit because the company lies to their customers. The staff walks around on eggshells. Horrible place to work. They don't care about the employees, they only care about making their numbers by any means necessary. Only thing I miss are the wonderful people I met there. What happens in the darkness will surely come to light with them..

Do not choose this company! To make a long story short , it started 4 years + when a new sales rep came in to my salon Afresh Hairstudio. ( I am running a one person business) I was about to get the square for credit card processing, And the sales rep convinced me her company was the same if not better than the square.. All information she was telling me she got from her supervisor that she spoke to on the phone. 1% per transaction , no monthly fees Just a wonderful company.right. 2 months later when I checked my statements, I realized there is a way more than 1% transaction fee and in addition there was a monthly fee approx 50-100. I called my rep. She was no longer working as a rep, and was now working at Osh . She said she could not afford working for them she never got payed. On top of it once in a while I did not receive my customers payments, A few clients told me but I am sure a few may have not, not being aware of it. I don't check all the time so things slip away! I do now and so far with the SQUARE that I used for 3 months now everything comes in the next day and I am saving a lot of money being a one person business I usually do not write reviews but the last straw was after 4 years in contract I called to cancel. The person I spoke to neglected to inform me that if I don't cancel on the last day of current contract, my contract renews automatically for one year and you get a whopping $400 early cancelation fee once again you regret using this company. I am sure there is others but the SQUARE is wonderful for one person business as well as larger ones.
