Feedback:
I am an attorney that used MMI for Consumer Counseling services as required by the Bankruptcy Code before filing bankruptcy for my clients. MMI's billing practices are atrocious. Instead of simply billing my credit card once per month for all services, MMI pings my credit card for each certificate. This causes confusion as each client must be billed for their respective certificate. When I confronted MMI with this problem, I got nothing but attitude specifically from Dara Boswell. Her title is Manager - Housing and Bankruptcy Counseling. She is snotty, snarky and unprofessional. She is not a compliment to her employer. She gave me a long line about how she had worked there for 25 years and therefore knows everything. She has no authority and her title is misleading as she has zero problem resolution skills. In my opinion, Dara Boswell is unprofessional and useless in any customer support role. I do not recommend MMI to any attorney that needs credit counseling services for his or her bankruptcy practice. Their competitors are cheaper and offer more support to busy attorneys.

Honestly I am just fed up at this point. What is the point of having a debt management service to have all of your payments in one payment if they're just going to send over the payments to the creditors late, giving me multiple $25 late fees? Why should I have to pay for them even though I'm making MY payments on time? Also, one of the girls Kate Addison decided to cancel my payments because she thought I was saying "I didn't want this to happen again" to my payments, but I was talking about these late fees!! My specific payment for this account that I am referring to is actually due the 31st for the month before, but I have a 15 day grace period, and I STILL got a late fee because MMI isn't sending out payments until the 8th of the month. I have been emailing back and forth for about a week now, and this issue STILL has not been resolved. The excuse last week was president's day which is understandable, but what is the excuse from Tuesday until now? Why am I still having to chase these people down to get these fees waived? What the heck is the point of this entire program if I am paying them a monthly fee to take care of this for me ON TOP of $25 late fees every month?Nobody seems to be taking me seriously. I cannot afford these late fees, contrary to your beliefs that you are working with people who have alot of money to blow.
Feedback:
No, these 5 star ratings seem fabricated by their employees or the owner of money management International. Fake business! My experience with them was a nightmare!
Feedback:
Great, caring and knowledgeable counselors.
Feedback:
Through MMI I was able to pay off credit card debt within a reasonable amount of time at a much lower interest rate. The customer service is great, MMI was a life saver.
