Client Review on Midgette Auto Sales
Feedback:
Second vehicle purchased here. 2017 a Toyota Tundra. And now a 2014 ford econoline work van. Made the trip again since the first experience was good. Monica helped me with some things but seemed overwhelmed with work and couldn’t remember my name. After the first few funny times it then wasn’t so after. Craig was the shining star if there was one. He made the sale, made it happen and is the reason this review is somewhat positive. I did everything that was asked of me on my end for the deal to be done. Before anything was signed I mentioned multiple times that I needed a class III tow hitch installed on the van because that is detrimental to me working. Was told this would be done. After a trip to Elizabeth city and a three hour wait bc their comps were down. I got the docs signed and headed back. That took me out of work for a full day. No worries there. I traded in a vehicle, and in my upbringing and line of work I brought it to you with a full tank. The vehicle I purchased had maybe an 8th. It’s the little things. The main reason I’m disappointed and will not further and business ever again is this. I was introduced to the service manager Who I made an appointment with to bring the van in about a week later for a full day for the tow hitch and the wiring to be installed. The gentleman told me that the appointment on the email would show my old Toyota however they would make sure it would be changed. We agreed on a price and I also made sure he knew what correct vehicle it was for. Fast forward a week later I get an email reminder that says I have an appointment for the 10th at 8 AM for my Toyota Tundra. A few hours later I get a text message from God knows who stating that they bought a hitch For a Tacoma and that they were in error because I have a tundra. Well no kidding the only thing is the hitch was for the 2014 Ford Econoline. Which is even funnier because the service manager is the one that told me that it would show up as a Toyota on the appointment reminder but that he would change the vehicle which is obvious it never happened. I never received a phone call or sorry or even a question about what I wanted to do. I relayed this information to Criag and although it’s not his fault he seems to be the only one there that is reachable. He did tell me that he would make a right however to no fault of Criag’s I have never heard anything back from you guys as a dealership. As a business owner and a construction company owner on the beach I would feel like you would treat somebody that’s going to be here for a long time with more respect.
