Here’s my review... I call to make an appointment because my regular accountant is so far away I was looking for one closer. So I call and make the appointment and asked how much the visit would be , I was told it’s up to the accountant. I finally get to my appointment yesterday morning, walk in, everyone is so nice. Finally one of the accountants calls me in, I give him my last tax info from last year which I was told to bring. He asks me if I made about the same last year, I didn’t but I was curious at what he was going to say. He closes my paperwork’ looks me in my eyes and said well my friends use turbo tax and our minimum charge is 160.... okay? Was this a hidden insult? Did I not look the part? Did you think i don’t have 160? You didn’t look at my paperwork to make sure how much I made, when in reality I made triple the amount. Then for you, an accountant, to tell me to use turbo tax.... wow. I will keep my accountant in mount Vernon who knows exactly what she’s doing.
