The older employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the younger ones need training. One wanted me to fill out a customs declaration for a $5 calendar to Europe (!!) - I had to suggest it be sent as a letter without declaration (also cheaper) - SHE should have suggested that to me. I had clearly marked Austria as destination and she thought it was going to Australia!!Moreover my family constantly receives mail for others (as others have commented below). On one occasion when they gave the postman back the erroneous mail and pointed out that it couldnt be for us, he said he didnt know where the address was and would probably throw it away!! Even in very poor countries there is a higher work ethic in postal services than that! The Manukau manager should be ashamed of himself.
