OK, friends & family, I do not rant on Facebook very often but I am OUTRAGED by something that happened today & just have to let everyone know. A dear friend of mine lost her father in a car accident & we were at the visitation at the funeral home today (Sunday). There was a good turnout & my friend was seated in a chair next to her daddy's casket greeting people. I saw a man & woman walk up to talk to her & then hand her a card & leave. Since lots of people were doing the same thing, I thought nothing of it until she walked over visibly shaken. I asked if she were OK (still thinking that her emotions were raw from the day) & she handed me the card below. Apparently, her father had a loan with this company & had used his car as collateral (yes, the car he was killed in). These fine folks had shown up at the funeral home to ask his daughter RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR CUSTOMER'S CASKET how she was going to settle this debt. Are you freaking KIDDING me???? WHO DOES THAT?????? I immediately headed out in search of this couple but, of course, they were long gone. And, according to the card left with my friend, this was no low-level employee trying to make a living but the president of the company. I lived in Bullitt County for 23 years & want to be sure that all of my friends out that way are aware of the business practices of this bunch. I am shocked...& those who know me well will attest to the fact that that doesn't happen often. Who shows up at a funeral home to dun the family for money?? Who isn't aware that this is a matter that will be addressed by the insurance companies since it involves a debt on a vehicle that was involved? Apparently, the answer is Key Credit Corporation in Shepherdsville. Buyer beware...
