Great stuff. I brought a bunch of elk in from an out of state harvest and was welcomed warmly by Jim and Shane who helped me place my order and weigh in the meat. The finished order, close to 200 pounds worth, was ready within 3 days. Snack sticks, summer sausage, smoked sausage, brats... All done and packaged professionally and taste great! This was my first time in the store and the service was great and I am happy with my choice in processor. I very important choice indeed!

Best Variety of Jerky, Cheese and Fish. Great atmosphere as well. My fiance and I sat out front and enjoyed Venison Jerky and Cheese, it was so comfortable

stopped in a few days ago as I recently moved in the area. the inside is shiplap and rustic so its very fitting for the product they sell. I had a nice conversation with the cashier as I was checking out my ground beef, roast, and snack sticks. we have had the snack sticks and beef both were great! they sell all sorts of beef cuts, some wild game, cheese and jerky, some fish

Very disappointed. Stopped using them years ago for my snack sticks. I had heard the son was now in charge and they offered cherry/cheddar sticks, which is what I have been driving to Almont for, for the last number of years. No comparison. Country Smokehouse loads the cherries and cheese in their sticks, J Deans does not. The majority of my 22lbs have ZERO cheeries in them, and very little cheese. I feel like I am eating a bologna snack stick. Disappointed in the lack of ingredients added. Back to Almont I go.

Absolutely top notch product. The showroom is a perfect blend of hunting and cleanliness. Shane took me on a tour of the place and the attention to detail regarding the layout and equipment was very impressive.
