Client Review on Interstate Credit Union -Midway Branch

I contacted this location last week regarding a vehicle purchase. I explained to Karin that I had used the Jesup location in 2011 for my vehicle loan but my return in 2015 for my second loan was not a very good experience. I was advised to go on line and complete the application and that the app would be delivered directly to her. Approximately an hour or two after this was completed, I contacted Karin to see if she had received the application and she stated no. I asked if I could provide the confirmation number to access it and she advised no. Karin asked that I complete the application again. I advised that I would not be able to do that. It seemed as though Karin either 1) found my application or 2) used my current profile with the CU to obtain needed info (why didn't she do this the first time). Long story short, after I made multiple calls to Karin, her calling me Amanda three times, running my credit, as well as talking to other people while on the telephone with me, Interstate Credit Union lost my business. I will be closing all accounts in the next few weeks and transferring my current loan to another bank that has the individual member in mind, in which they are assisting. Each member deserves 100% attention and quality service. Karin could have advised me that the process takes longer than a couple of hours, advised that she was short staffed or even simply denied me service from the beginning instead of giving me the run around. Additionally, when she realized that I was upset and going another route, she didn't try and stop me, keep my business or ever apologize. I am proud to say that the dealership financed my car and gave me a lower interest interest rate than IFCU would have anyway, in less than 10 minutes! Now that is what you call service!
