I had a horrible experience with Horizon Home Loans but was continually reminded throughout the process that the horrible experience was all my fault due to my not so perfect credit. You can never get a straight answer, no one understands that I had to give notice to my landlord, utilities, etc. I ended up spending over $1000 in fees for storage costs that could have been avoided with better communication.Forrest gave me the impression that he was "God" of my homeownership. If he wasn't happy, he wouldn't help me. He even told me that if I default own my home loan, he personally would be required to repay it!During the process, Forrest befriended the seller of my home, who flips houses, and began doing work for him and discussing our sale and disclosing details of the deal and myself with the Seller, which I wasn't comfortable with but had no choice as I feared angering Forrest.My parents and brother both used Horizon Home Loans and had horrible experiences. I didn't know who they used until I got into the process and started having so many issues. I have forwarded this site to them so that they too can post their bad experiences.
