Horrible Experience. Do NOT take a class with Tom Damen. He is the worst. He is rude, crude, and offensive. He starts off the day by asking each student what suburb they live in. Then, he makes childish jokes about their residence whenever someone asks a question. Throughout the class, he sprinkles in misogynistic jokes. His behavior and attitude is akin to a 13 year old boy, creating an atmosphere where other immature boys feel perfectly comfortable making stupid jokes. I reported Damen's behavior to the Director of the school, and he had the nerve to tell me that Damen "admitted no wrong doing". The whole environment reminded me of being in Junior High School. If you are wise, you'd stay away.
