This company deserves -10 stars in my opinion! My husband opened a Zales card back in 2016 when he bought my engagement ring and wedding band. He would use it 2-3 times a year to buy me jewelry as a gift. It switched from another company to Genesis last year. Once we finally got around to knowing which company the card was now with, we made sure to make payments. We were set up for email billing yet never received them, and we never got an actual card once it was switched. Today my husband went to go shopping for a Christmas gift for me. He asked me to check the card to see what was available. Well over 6k available to use. He found what he wanted to get me and goes to make the purchase and they can’t access the account. He calls genesis to find out why and in a matter of 10 mins they dropped his credit line from 7k to 1k with a balance of $998 from two previous purchases that we pay more than the minimum balance on monthly. When he asked why all they could say was “ you will receive a letter in 7-10 business days”.This is going to take a hard hit to his credit cause now he has a low limit card with a high balance! Do not waste your time dealing with these low life, scamming a**holes!
