Florida Central Credit Union through the incompetence of an employee; misplaced my insurance paperwork for my loan. So instead of politely requesting replacement paperwork, Florida Central Credit Union wisdom was to threatened me with extortion tactics. After I provided my insurance binder.... An incompetent employee again, threatens me after the fact.To all the lovely people who have been banking flawlessly without issues, I am truly happy for you. I too have that loyalty with Chase (17 years) and I fought with them many times over the years as well. The difference between the two financial institutions is, Chase has integrity and admitts to making mistakes and are quick to offer their apologies; Florida Central Credit Union refused to admit fault, used extortion like tactics and lied to the BBB in an attempt to cover up their mistakes. After my vehicle is paid off, I will end our relationship.

People here are really nice.NOT FAIR..Direct deposit from a Guaranteed government deposit .. it's all done by computers, If the 1st is on a Saturday most banks give you the money in your account on that Friday or Saturday morning. Not FCU you get it Monday or Tuesday if it's a holiday (4 days later). And it shows pending in your account for 7 days.

I was on insurance policy with a family member, they let insurance expire, 1/27/19 I was notified and obtained insurance, showed proof 2/19 Now its 4/19 and they're saying I owe them $403.00, 2 months later. If that's not robbery, was going to open account for my payroll. I think I will stick with Chase, they value their customers.

Pros: They do a car loan for 2%, so once you get through the paperwork, you can't be the rate, My car is only costing me $1000 over cost of dealerChecking account has great perks and Alot of cash back with common stores,and,refunds all atm feesCons:Customer service went way down hill and alot of shaky tellers, tellers try their best but you can see very high turnover and front counter clerical errors. I had about 4 of them with mixed tellersThey are way behind on technology and you can't get a bank card the same day or if you lose your card, a subcontractor company has to processed, which can be a nightmareI have switched my main accounts to another credit unionUPDATE: 11/14/2018: One of managers who has been there a long time and processed my car loan did help me with a savings account issue. She has always given excellent customer service. So I raise my review by 2 stars to make it a 4

Horrible customer service. In 3 years they have never answered the phone when I have called. I have always had to physically go in or call a different branch. Other branches are great, but this one is horrible.
