Dishonest corporation and break FDCPA
Hired For: Small Business Loans in 2021
What was the best part of the experience?
I made my first payment on their website - yet they harassed me for 2 weeks saying I was past due (emails and phone calls). They called before 8am local time - these are violations of the FDCPA. Their website shows I have no loan and now they have sent me a THIRD URL to view account information. SHADDDDYYYYY. I have PROOF of all of this - I'm working with BBB and others to get this handled.
What would you change about the experience?
One never knows what will happen, but this experience is shaddy. It is not my fault if they are a small business. When you break FDCPA, you need to take responsibility for your errors. Best outcome is that they cancel my debt just as their website shows and for FDCPA violations. Again, working with BBB and others to get this handled CORRECTLY.

DO NOT take a loan with this corporation at any cost. They break FDCPA and I am pursuing my rights on this. ELC needs to cancel out my debt for violation of FDCPA and for inaccurate reporting. They claim that the proof sent from their own website is not proof. What the heck? It's you're own URL not some third party URL.
