I can't believe this happened. I've supported Credo for years through political actions. Finally I was going to buy my first cell phone, and after talking with a very thoroughly helpful sales person by phone for at least an hour, we found the perfect phone for me and set up a 2-yr contract. He did a credit check, which dinged my credit score, but it was going to be worth it. I qualified and the phone was to arrive in 2 business days, possibly 3. To make a long story short, after several mixed messages from UPS, which led to several conversations with people at Credo, and being told they would "look into it and call me back", I continued to get welcome messages from Credo and delivery messages and change of delivery dates from UPS. Would you believe, Credo cancelled my phone without even calling me first or sending me a phone number where I could call if they didn't call me back. I have spent hours calling Credo, waiting on hold, etc, and the only thing they could say was, "Sorry. This doesn't usually happen." What a huge waste. I really would like to know how many times this has happened to other people.UPDATE 1-17-18 A very nice person from Credo called me about a week after their cancellation. He explained that someone made the decision not to return my call because s/he thought I'd had said I wanted to cancel, based on the notes their representative had taken. That's where things went wrong, and they apologized profusely. They revisited the recorded phone call and saw how they went in the direction of cancellation. They would have normally returned my call in this circumstance, but have talked with those who made other decisions and hope that that will not happen again. I've read other reviews about Credo and need to see something more positive before I consider them as my phone company.
