I can't begin to count all of the steps along the way that I know I would have stumbled with had I not had the fortune of this team of experts. If you are thinking of starting your own business you would be doing yourself a disservice not to go through the Self Employment program through Community Futures South Fraser.

Having recently completed the Self Employment program, I recommend Community Futures services without hesitation. They provide a complete range of support for the entrepreneur who is establishing their business, including business planning, branding, marketing, social media, and finances. The best part is the price - free if you apply through Work BC.

The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience in the business field that they want to share with entrepreneurs. Every day I feel fortunate to be part of this amazing program as it has enabled me to start my new business with an incredible amount of support and knowledge and continued training. I truly believe that without this program I would not have been successful in my endeavours. The staff go above and beyond helping us all with our businesses. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone wanting to start a business and I tell everyone I meet about my experiences. Make sure you ask questions BEFORE you begin this program. Ask as many questions as you wish DURING the program. Do not SPEND any of your money if you feel pushed to do so. Make a REALISTIC proposal for your business idea. Get a SECOND OPINION as to the VIABILITY of your business idea. Do not VOLUNTEER any information to this program's facilitators that you do not feel is warranted. Do not allow yourself to get pushed into PURCHASING any services/products while you are in this program. And, finally, choose a different program, not this one.
