Everyone is friendly, greets me with a smile, calls me by name and always willing to help with any situation. I am an admin for the City of St. James Facebook page. I got a request from a soldier at Ft. Leonardwood. Her unit is planning a day trip to the Veterans Home. She was hoping to find an organization in St. James to team up with so they could offer the Veterans a dessert. She explained that she did not have much funding and would need the organization to share if not carry the cost. I had a few ideas. I picked up the phone, had a nice conversation with Mary and Samantha. Without a question asked Samantha said, "yes," we would love to do it. I am so proud of our community! We may be small but we know one another well enough to get things done! Thank you Marie's County Bank employees for all you do in and around the community. It does not go unnoticed. I so appreciated going back to this soldier and letting her know, she didn't have to worry about a thing. I knew you would do all that was necessary to show up and show off for not only our veterans but for our community. Thank you to each of you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness matters!!
