Excellent bank!! Those of you that say you get slapped with 100s of over draft fees.... they print it out for you what will be happening to your account. You have to sign it. So, they aren’t blind siding you. All banks have an option to decline your transaction. You just have to tell them that’s what you want, it’s not gonna happen by itself.

Not happy with Services. 607.95 of Overdraft fees, They will hit you with 100's of dollars in fees in one sitting. Will not refund.

anytime you have a problem...Too bad, no one can help you. Have lived here since 78. Opened account when Auburn branch opened .No problems till recently. Friendly folks, just there for the bank. Still have account. New branch manager blames tellers for flat out lying to me about overdraft fees and how to square account once they blindside you. Opened account at Auburn Bank...guess what? Similar situation arose where a deposit came back..Auburn.Bank called me...and we worked the whole thing out right away....not three weeks later after hundreds of dollars in fees.

Tellers and banking staff are always good to deal with at this location. Free pens, free (pretty decent) coffee, free checking accounts, no pressure. CharterBank is old school and I for one am a big fan.
