Overall Feedback:
So disappointed in this branch, we have been customers here for more than ten years, and they refused to make an exception in regards to holding a check I needed to deposit for $1000.It was Friday morning, I made sure I was there before 8am when the bank opened. They would only make $200 (of the $1,000 check I deposited) available and said the remainder of my money would not be available until TUESDAY!!! I asked if they could at least make $300 available to at least COVER my incoming debits and the manager stared me right in the face and refused. She seemed quite pleased with herself that she had total control over my finaces, and was perfectly happy to overdraw my account, threaten to not pay my incoming check, and then charge me $37 for transactions they control during non business hours. She basically could have made an extra $100 exception to cover my debit and I would have been perfectly happy. It is this type of poor customer service that leads to branches closing and people upset. They do not fit the idea of a "community bank".Incidentally, at the same branch a couple weeks ago the teller shorted me $10 and after counting her drawer she realized she had forgotten to give me $10. When they called to tell me I should have caused a scene, but I accepted her apology and moved on.*** Cindy at the North East Branch and all the tellers are wonderful, but Rising Sun has no customer service- they do not exemplify what it means to have good customer service!
