The BBB of Greater Maryland was wonderful in helping me get my security deposit back. My former landlord totally disregarded the 45 days to refund the deposit specified in the lease. Lisa Clay of BBB was great with keeping me updated and staying on top of attempts to obtain a response from the landlord. I'm very appreciative. I was also provided contact information for the state's attorney general (AG).

Update- Statement made by BBB is false and misleading to consumers. Action on all complaints where taken before report. However, BBB corrected complaints after report because complaints were resolved between business and consumer without the acknowledgment of the BBB, from either party, yet were satisfied. Very upsetting and misleading along with reports on media outlets. Their system of reporting are not true. Cases can be resolved outside of the BBB and not updated on their system unless both parties make the effort to close the case. Their statements are misleading. Their intention actually hurts small business and does not take into account all the positive work done by a business. As for reporting to media outlets, not one person ever reached out to my business to find out what occurred and just slammed a small business. They never go after big corporations just shut down local business. **Their system is designed to make small business out to be awful. Complaints are on there for 3 years regardless off the outcome with a negative impact. Many if not all cases are typically resolved before and without the help of the bbb in our case.A report expressing complaints about a business. We were never notified. They said they never heard from us. Yet documented on multiple accounts that in fact we have been. The media along with the bbb are not honest.allstar sent numerous emails and calls and never received anything back. As for the media report they tried to contact 5 hours before publishing on a Jewish high holiday. Kai Reed of wbal did hear from the company and never changed the report. The bbb did hear from the company well before the report and claims they didn't however there is proof to multiple employees at the bbb that this occurred. The person at the bbb Jody Thomas admitted she never spoke to AllStar yet claims she did in the report under "bbb officials". Its a shame. Small business can not afford to go after large enterprise this is the only way we can get our story out. Unfortunately! We look forward to working with the bbb. As we already have to correct complaints. To correct this situation and their practices.

Never trust this company pay top dollar and they drive the car never put it on the trailer they said the return the money and then don't answer the phone no more lawsuit it's been processed SCAMMER DON'T TRUST !!!!!!!!!
