Ripped me off on an auto refinance. Somehow I left with a higher principal than what I owed previously and they started charging interest right away... Even though more than two weeks later my original lien holder still has not received the check from Ascentra. So now I'm paying interest on two auto loans. I was trying to save a little bit of money with a lower interest rate but I regret ever even contacting Ascentra. Never again. Thankfully I've steered several people away from making the same mistake as I did.
