Do NOT buy gold or silver from American Coins & Gold. There are other local coin shops around that are 1000x better.They were trying to sell ungraded Silver eagles for $9 over spot!!!Generic bars were selling for $4 over spot!!!You can find Eagles as low as $2 over spot, and generic bars for $1 over spot from many other dealers. In-fact, these are the worst prices I’ve ever seen from a gold and silver dealer.Truly highway robbery! Take your business elsewhere, don’t regret going here.

Rude staff, unfair prices, and terrible experience. They will try to take advantage of you if you are selling precious metals. The gentleman inside was unaware of my knowledge and quoted me a price before even weighing it..Avoid...

I love this place. As an avid coin collector, it's always a good time rummaging through the box on the counter. The man who I presume owns the shop is really helpful, and knows his stuff when it comes to historic coins. Really hope they stay there a while.
