Feedback:
Tried Affirm out on a purchase from Hayneedle. The item took 3 weeks to ship. It was damaged during shipping and subsequently refused upon attempted delivery. Affirm charged me interest on an account that was refunded from Hayneedle, for an item that I actually never had in my possession. These folks are completely unhelpful and don't care about customer service. Don't use these alternatives to banks. They are ripoff institutions.

Was trying to get terms for a line of credit/loan we were looking at and spend 3 days and 6 emails ending up with no more info that I had before. They refused to provide details on the length of terms they offered, rates, qualification criteria, etc until I applied. At one point they advised me to call which I think was so they didn't have to refuse it in writing. We ended up going elsewhere due to the terrible experience and lack of help.
Feedback:
This company is a joke! Someone stole my identity a couple years back and was able to use a mix of information to take out a loan with Affirm. That issue has since been resolved. However, now that I am applying for a legitimate loan I am running into a myriad of problems around "duplicate accounts" and them unable to "verify my identity." I called numerous times and no one has been able to resolved this issue. I also haven't received a single response to any of my e-mails outlining this problem. The only answer I can get is that someone is looking into it, and until this day no one has bothered to get back to me. Avoid this place at all cost!
Feedback:
Buyer Beware! Affirm is a payday loan scam. They deceptively hid the terms of the loan and then charged me interest on a item never received. Stay away from these guys. Discovered multiple complaints already filed with the FTC Consumer Complaints and BBB.

Very easy to work with!

Affirm is great. As a merchant, I like getting paid in full. Our customers like ordering with the Affirm extension and have had no problems. I am not sure about the other reviews, but everything seems as described with Affirm. Great company, good people...
Feedback:
Got denied. Won't tell me why other than saying they couldn't verify my identity which is bullsh*t and my bank is begging me to take a loan with them because I went in to talk about my options and they know I'm good for it. I can buy the stupid computer I wanted cash... i just saw they do report to credit and figured it wouldn't hurt to go this route for less than $50 interest but whatever guys. My not needing you is affirmed.
Feedback:
for some strange reason if you buy with Afirm and then you return what you bought it shows as a closed account on your credit and hurts your score. They should fix that. terrible terrible
Feedback:
Would like to fax my paperwork to Affirm but they don’t have one. What company doesn’t have one. My email to send was down and I can’t even mail it to the Home office since they don’t accept mail. What is up with this?
Feedback:
Dealing with this company has proven to be the most exhausting use of energy with no gain! They have forced the customer to attempt to resolve an error with a merchant when they themselves should act. A transaction was canceled and, even though supplied with every document needed to resolve the concern, they still wish to force a customer to do the hours of calling. And emailing. Every piece of proof was completely worthless. Placing blame on EVERYONE else instead of resolving the issues either internally, or with the other party. A customer has NO CONTROL over what company does what. There needs to be communication between the companies to resolve on behalf of the customer. STOP forcing a customer to PAY for a company’s mistake!
