I went to this office to renew my license as a Real ID License. The folks at this office are patient, helpful, friendly and very organized - the highest Google rating in the State I estimate (4.6 out of 5 with more than 120 reviews). Go prepared - review online ALL the required documentation at the RMV site and complete the form online recommended. Go early, short line will form at front door before 9 AM opening, make friends and relax. It takes a little bit of time no matter what.

Normally I absolutely hate going to the RMV, but this one is wonderful. The atmosphere is much more friendly and inviting. The workers are very polite and really listen to your questions or concerns. You don't feel like just a number. I went to get my registration renewed, and they made it as painless as possible. I was in and out within roughly 10 minutes. Now granted it was early Friday morning. If you have AAA I recommend going to this location.

Worst experience. After checking in with the woman at the counter for travel (was asked for member card and was swiped into the system) I was given a seat. The place was busy so I was patient. After waiting about 1.5 hours I went back up to the counter to see how things were looking. I was told they didn’t know what I was talking about and that I wasn’t in the que. I was asked if I wanted to make an apt. I asked would I have to wait? She said yes. Meanwhile there were at least one cubicle with no customers. There were plenty of other workers just sitting around doing nothing as well. The place is so disorganized it’s not even funny. I would not recommend the AAA Saugus location to anyone. Don’t get car insurance from these people. They will confuse the hell out of you juggling your brain between companies like Mapfree and others.

one of the better places to renew anything with the RMV there. But they said my wife had to be a member so she got attached to my AAA membership before she could use the RMV services. but that was easy and she was in and out really quick. same when I had to renew my license I went early and was in and out really quick. also AAA services is very good.
